Plant something. Pick a packet from the seed drawer, then tap any open square. Friends in the garden glow green while you carry it; foes blush rust. Esc puts the packet back.
Travel through the year. Drag the pin on the ribbon up top. Plants appear as dashed plans before sowing, sprout, fill out, ring gold when ready to pick, and fade after.
Get to know a plant. Tap anything planted — the almanac opens its page, with arcs drawn to its friends and quarrels nearby. Drag a plant to move it. Delete removes it.
Tend the beds. Click a bed's name to rename it. The ✎ opens its field notes and lets you name a caretaker. The × returns it to lawn.
Keep it safe. Everything autosaves in this browser. Save file downloads a copy worth keeping; Calendar prints the year for the crew; Ctrl+Z undoes, Ctrl+Y redoes.
